This site is run by Nabeel Naeem, Islamabad, Pakistan. It is hosted on a server in Germany, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. Questions or requests go to nnabeel03@gmail.com.

Visit logs

Every time a page or file is requested, the server records:

• your IP address
• the date and time
• the page requested and the page that linked to it
• your browser’s user agent (browser, operating system, device type)

I use this to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they come from. The country, city and network (such as an ISP or company) are looked up from the IP address using a database stored on the same server. Nothing is sent to an analytics company.

Logs are deleted automatically after 30 days. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): keeping the site running and secure, and understanding who reads it.

Cookies and trackers

None. There are no cookies, no third-party analytics, no ads and no embedded social widgets. Fonts are served from this site. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser and never sent anywhere.

Contact form

When you send a message, your name, email address, topic, message and IP address are emailed to me. I use them only to reply. I keep the email for as long as the conversation is relevant, and delete it sooner if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to it being processed. Email nnabeel03@gmail.com and I will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority in the EU.
